This is Mr. Burton reading his manuscript "They Called Me Gentleman Johnny", an "imagined memoir" of General John Burgoyne. Please see the links below for information on Burgoyne, a British general and playwright who lived from 1722-92. These recordings were apparently done at home in Key West, so they have imperfections and a wealth of background sounds. It's unknown who the other readers are.
